RESPONSIBILITIES:

    * Responsible for the ongoing maintenance of the Recruiting and HR Administration HRIS tracking system. This includes all changes affecting employee status such as new hires, promotions, lateral moves, location changes and termination.
    * Draft employee announcements.
    * Responsible for coordinating all activity related to employee promotions.
    * Maintain on and off-site (remote storage) personnel records in accordance with records and retention laws for employees.
    * Coordinate the Intern appraisal process by notifying managers when an intern is due for their annual appraisal.
    * Ensure receipt of annual appraisal documentation. Audits monthly during the process and follows up with managers as necessary.
    * Administer the employee verification process, interfacing with the vendor on any changes or problems.
    * Prepare and assist with the analysis of quarterly turnover reporting and other standard personnel related reporting.
    * Investigate day to day benefits claims and grievances.
    * Conduct employee orientation sessions.
    * Assist in developing employee communication pieces and presentations.


REQUIREMENTS:

    * Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources from a four-year college or university.
    * Preferably has 2-3 yrs of HR experience.
    * General knowledge of HRIS Systems.
    * Thorough knowledge of company policy and departmental practice related to Employee Records activities.
    * Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and schedule personal work flow and workflow of other team members to meet scheduled deadlines with speed and accuracy.
    * Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external associates.
    * Demonstrated ability to work in a team and provide team leadership.
    * Proficiency with various programs including Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
    * High adaptability and flexibility in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment
    * Strong legal background in Labor Laws/Relations
